They are known by professional relocation companies, but they can also be rented at a low cost for private relocation: Möbellifte. A Möbellift is an elevator, which is brought from the outside to the apartment and takes the transport of the furniture on the day of the move. Narrow staircases and steep stairs are no longer a problem, as you can take the most direct route and can not only move back and time account, but also completely relaxed from old to the new apartment.

This kind of furniture can be used not only for small parts, but also for large, bulky and weighty furniture. The customary designs of the furniture can easily be used to transport furniture with a weight of up to 400 kilograms. A further advantage is that the avoidance of stairs and narrow corridors means less damage, equally to the home, house and furniture.

Here a furniture can be used
Some spatial circumstances must already fit, but in principle a furniture can be used practically everywhere. Prerequisite is a sufficiently large parking space for the furniture lift and a free connection to a window or to the balcony of an apartment. Trees or other obstacles could, however, destroy the plan.

The upper end of the lift must be designed with a solid construction. This can be the facade of the building or a stable balcony. The roof-top apartments can be problematic, as windows or balcony balconies are often moved backwards and do not extend flush with the façade. The upper end of the elevator can then not be securely applied, which would be necessary for safe operation.

The usual models of Möbellifte have a height of 27 meters. It is therefore generally possible to use it up to the 7th floor. For higher floors, special special solutions must be found.
